The Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz and the Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense have opened the fourteenth Scientific Forum on Hajj Research on behalf of King Abdulaziz, the custodian of the two holy mosques.
It will be hosted by the Umm Al-Qura University and represented by the Institute of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj and Umrah Research at King Abdulaziz Historic Hall. The king has been very generous in playing his part for the development of such projects. The funds have been granted to setup Hajj research forum and in the future the government will continue its support in the development of its operations.
On this event, Dr. Bakri bin Matouk Asas, the Rector of Umm Al Qura University, appreciated the sponsorship of King Abdulaziz the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for this annual international forum. He stressed that the forum will highlight the major topics related to management, jurisprudence of the Hajj and Umrah, economics, health, environment, engineering research and architectural, awareness and information, techniques and their applications, in connection to the expertise and experience and their roles in the development of services.
Such programs will increase the awareness in people about Hajj, Umrah and the different things related in performing these religious obligations. The research forum will give the recommendations to the concerned authorities on how to improve their services. A major role has been given to the research forum members in improving the services on the occasions of Hajj and Ummrah.
